Welcome to the Genetics Section Section of AFS
The Genetics Section of the American Fisheries Society strives to provide a better understanding of the role of genetics in aquatic sciences, fisheries management, and aquaculture; encourage protection of the genetic resources of aquatic species; and promote the accumulation, synthesis, and exchange of genetic information concerning aquatic organisms and their management.
